The BlackIP vehicle-mounted RFID reader is a highly sensitive stand-alone device which simplifies automatic tracking operations in outdoor and dirty environments due to its IP67 protection rating. Furthermore, it is also resistant to impacts and vibrations.
It measures 230 mm x 230 mm x 50 mm, and the high sensitivity of its antenna allows it to read and write passive UHF tags up to a distance of 8 metres.
Equipped with a universal socket, which simplifies installation on different vehicles, BlackIP is available with RS232 or RS485 connectivity. In addition, the user interface features a buzzer for a better user experience.
