The USB-connectable D8 desktop RFID reader operates in the HF frequency and detects HF RFID tags, within a distance of 10 cm. Characterised by a compact size – 122 x 93 x 25 mm -, the device reads and writes High Frequency RFID tags.
Simple to use, the device has a slot for a “SAM” (Secure Access Module or Secure Application Module) card, which helps boost security and encryption performance during read and write operations, ensuring secure data management.
The interface features a LED and a buzzer that provide the user with information on the operational status of the device. 
It is easy to integrate thanks to a software development kit (SDK) and a demo program that facilitates instant installation of the device. Drivers are designed for Windows or Linux operating systems.
