ORIGINS
From the collaboration of a young team of engineers from Molise trained at the University of Pisa, Sensor ID was born. The goal is to conceive, design and develop RFID devices for the Internet of Things.
The first RFID reader designed and manufactured by Sensor ID is brought to market.

Discovery Mobile, the first wearable RFID reader for point-in-time pricing, arrives on the market. The wearable device revolutionizes the way data is collected in waste collection.
FROM RFID TO THE INTERNET OF THINGS
Discovery Mobile, the wearable RFID reader for punctual waste collection, becomes the first full IoT device, i.e. directly connected to the main Internet of Things platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Development begins on Hey Middle, the simplified middleware that facilitates two-way communication between RFID readers and System Integrator applications.
A comprehensive portfolio of vertical RFID and IoT solutions is released, fully integrated with cloud middleware.
